Additional Info:	I am a certified teacher (K-6), and have been a private tutor for over six years, working with both children and adults alike. Tutoring is extremely rewarding because I am able to provide one-on-one attention to students, and tailor sessions to meet their needs and interests. My experience: I began tutoring professionally six years ago, providing lingual support to foreign exchange students and international professionals. Meanwhile, I developed my teaching skills at the School of Education at UNC Chapel Hill, and then graduated with a BA in Elementary Education. I was a long-term professional tutor at Guilford County Schools from 2010 to 2012, working with students from grades K-5. My philosophy: I believe students do their best work when they are engaged and encouraged. I work hard to ensure that students believe in their own strengths and abilities in order to foster their educational growth.
