I am a former teacher. I taught elementary school for 10 years. While teaching I was sent to NY to study the Writers Workshop and my classroom was the model classroom for the building. I also worked for the Reading First Impact Study for three years and the Early Reading First Program. I stay at home and take care of my granddaughter. I would love to help tutor students k-5th grades. While working for the Reading First Program I learned a lot about techniques to help students learn to read. |
