Additional Info:	Sekhar Ganapathy is a Science Graduate and, in addition, holds a First Class, high distinction Masters Degree in Ger-man Language and Germanistic Studies from Institute of English and Foreign Languages, Hyderabad, a UGC deemed university (like the IITs). He has also passed through 5 levels of German language proficiency at the Goethe Institute (Max Mueller Bhavan) and a couple of levels in FRENCH language at the Alliance Francaise. He presently handles translations from 9 European languages (German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Da-nish, Swedish and Norwegian). From time to time he helps out by translating from other languages too such as Turkish, Finnish, Slovak and Japanese languages. He has worked for over 4 decades as a technical translator in India and Europe including the IT industry. The IT experience includes, among others, Translations from SWEDISH and DUTCH to ENGLISH for M/s IN-FOSYS, Bangalore. His hobbies include Observational Astronomy, Swimming, Telescope building and Badminton (he played in the Na-tional Championships, for over a decade, captaining the KARNATAKA State SQUAD, that included ARJUNA AWARDEE Shri Prakash Padukone, his doubles partner). He collects old Hollywood Classic and Western movies.
