Additional Info:	Hi, My name is Sam and I graduated from the University of TN - Knoxville in 2003. Afterward, I obtained my Masters in Accounting from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. My education has been a wonderful experience and I believe I can help you have the same. After obtaining my Masters, I started my career as an auditor working for a Big 4 CPA Firm specializing in the Financial Services Industry with a concentration on both Investment Management and Mortgage Banks. After gaining three years of valuable industry and accounting experience with the Big 4, I accepted a new position as an auditor with a Regional CPA Firm in order to gain more experience with respect to overseeing an audit from start to finish . In total I have worked five and a half years as an auditor. My experience in public accounting was unrivaled in regards to developing a further understanding and mastery of generally accepted accounting principals (GAAP), generally accepted accounting standards (GAAS), and internal controls. Furthermore, with each passing year of experience and as I began to Iead audits, I also became increasingly more responsible for the development of others on my audit team. This responsibility included teaching new staff how to apply and utilize the accounting principals they learned in college to every audit procedure they had to perform. In addition, I was tasked to further develop their accounting and technical skills in order to achieve a more efficient and effective audit. As a result, I became aware that I loved not only teaching, but also watching the improvement of one's skills and their satisfication of doing a job well done. On average, I have taught between 4-7 staff at once while in the field. In addition, I have been involved in several teaching seminars through work. Lastly, I have spent my free time tutoring college students with respect to both higher and lower lever accounting courses. In closing, I feel my experience and knowledge of accounting can be of great help to you and your success. My tutoring approach is to get a feel for the student and how they best learn. After which, I tailor my teaching methods to the student's learning preferences; which results in an efficient and successful learning experience for the student. Fees:	$ 30.00 Dollars Per Hour It should be noted that the stated $30/hour rate is just an average and could be lower or higher depending upon the difficulty of the subject matter. Therefore, the final rate for each student will be determined once the subject matter is known and once a proper understanding has been established in regards to what the student wants and/or requires from each session.
