Additional Info:	I am a current and certified teacher. I have taught Social Studies and Language Arts from the 9th to 12th grade for the past 6 years, I am currently my school's Literacy Intervention Specialist in which I work one on one and in small groups with at risk readers and writers. I received my B.S. In Secondary Education, certified to teach grades 7-12 in History and English, from Wayne State University. Currently pursuing my Masters in Literacy at Saginaw Valley State Graduate program. Experienced, structured and creative Reading / Writing tutor has openings for students from grades 7- College Age students. Lessons and goals are structured and tailored to pupils' specific needs, and may include Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary Building, Note taking Skills, Varied Writing Skills, Drafts, Proofreading My rates are flexible willing to do half hour, hour or even two hour sessions, which includes initial assessments to find focus areas to improve upon lexile reading and writing levels,assigned homework, organizational skills, testing taking skills and bi-monthly assessment.
