Additional Info:	I have run my own music studio in Burlington, Ontario since 1990. I have recently returned to Burlington to resume music teaching, having been away in England doing postgraduate musicology research, and also teaching English as a foreign language in Prague, Czech Republic. I have had many years of study and teaching experience in music, earning an Associate degree, a Licentiate degree (both for piano performance), a Bachelor's degree (McMaster University, Music History/Theory), and two Master's degrees (University of Western Ontario, Music Theory; University of Surrey, England, Musicology). I was awarded Teaching Assistantships at both UWO and Surrey, England to teach undergraduate music theory and aural skills. I continued to teach piano and theory in England, both to private students and part-time in an elementary school. I teach piano (all levels), and I specialize in teaching music theory--harmony, counterpoint, analysis--and aural skills. I am also a linguist and have tutored in basic French and French grammar. I am also conversant in German, Spanish, Polish and Russian. As stated above, I have taught English as a foreign language (2.5 years in Prague).
Fees:	$ 40.00 Canadian Dollars Per Hour This fee is what I normally charge for a one-hour piano lesson or music theory lesson, or music history lesson in my private studio.
