Additional Info:	I am a New York State certified teacher (Math, grades 5-12), with degrees from University of Michigan(math) and New York University(math education). I love teaching, but find tutoring even more rewarding. It allows me to work one-on-one with students, correcting misconceptions and really working toward understanding. I see the beauty in math and helping others see that beauty, or at least lose their fear of math, is incredibly satisfying for me. My experience includes teaching and tutoring general education and special education students, students who have been successful at math and those who have struggled, and both students who are simply trying to pass a math class and those who are excelling, but want to maximize a Regents score.
