Additional Info:	I am an American citizen from San Diego, California with four years of experience in tutoring mathematics and English Language Arts (including, reading, spelling and writing). I will be living in Mamaku (near Rotorua) from the beginning of April of 2011 until the end of December of 2011. I also have the skills to tutor in the subjects of Spanish (up to beginning level only), general computer skills, media design using Adobe Photoshop and Flash (including some Actionscript), and basic/beginning web site design (mostly HTML, with some light PHP), and video editing/shooting. Since January of 2007 I have worked as a one-on-one tutor for a California company that provides free, publicly-funded tutoring to under-performing schools through the federal US 'No Child Left Behind' programme. My students have typically been Hispanic students in low socio-economic areas who speak Spanish as their first language. Since April of 2007 I have been a relief teacher for various school districts in San Diego, California. I am starting a position teaching year 4 at Mamaku School at the beginning of April of 2011, and after settling in I might want to seek some additional part-time tutoring work. I can provide written references from my former company, parents and school secretaries. I would likely prefer to start tutoring at the beginning of August, after I have settled in, been able to purchase a personal vehicle, and sorted out the situation with having my work visa emended (see below for more details on my work visa situation.). Whenever possible I prefer to do tutoring at a local library near where my students live. However, I am also perfectly comfortable tutoring at private residences, or at other locations by arrangement. Please note that, due to conflicts of interest, I will not tutor any students who are currently attending Mamaku School in Mamaku Village in the Bay of Plenty region. As well, I will be in New Zealand on a temporary work visa, which will have to be amended in the event that I obtain a second job. My tutoring work will be contingent upon an employer/parent/guardian being able to prove that they cannot hire a suitably qualified New Zealand permanent resident, citizen or work visa holder for the tutoring. I will absolutely not perform 'under the table' work that violates my work visa, so do not ask me to do such. Fees:	NZ$ 25.00 New Zealand Dollars Per Hour Depending on where the tutoring is at I may ask for some reimbursement for Petrol. However, this should not be necessary if you are in the Rotorua central area.
