I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Guelph University and am currently earning my Bachelor of Education (Intermediate/Senior in Chemistry and Visual Art) from Trent University. I have 8 years of extensive experience tutoring students in math, science, and English anywhere from grade 7 to the post secondary level. I have worked with students of varying abilities, including English language learners, students with multiple exceptionalities, and gifted learners. I have worked at two Kumon Learning Centres for 3 years, volunteered in several science and chemistry classrooms, taught art classes, and tutored a variety of students in both group settings and one-on-one. I have a particular interest in teaching chemistry and feel comfortable tutoring anything from grade 7 science to university level. |
