Additional Info:	As a tutor, I aim to be professional yet passionate about the subjects I teach. I believe that a student-tutor relationship works best when both are working towards the same goal of improving the student's understanding of a subject. My approach is to allow the student as much room for his or her own creative thought as possible while still making sure that he or she understands the main concepts covered by a text. I am also passionate about coherent essay-writing, and work closely with students in my tuition to ensure that they not only understand the material, but can create an effective argument about it as well. Before taking my Master's degree, I taught home-school for a ten-year-old pupil in the Summer-Fall of 2010, covering an array of subjects at the introductory level. In the Fall of 2009, I organised and taught a four-week workshop on essay-writing for incoming first year students. Before that, I was a private tutor for numerous local families from 2002-2004, specialising in all levels of English literature, primary Mathematics, and beginner's piano.
