Additional Info:	I began teaching in 1986 and I have never stopped! Because of my experience working in private schools, I have been given the opportunity to enhance my teaching abilities by teaching many different age levels and subject matter. I have taught students in a traditional K-8 school as well as a non-traditional school for children with learning difficulties. I was a tutor in a tutoring center, and I also have private tutoring students. In addition to instructing and tutoring, I taught private piano lessons. Currently, I tutor students and I am an instructor for the local Adult and Basic Literacy Education Program. Through this program, I teach Math, Language, Reading, Science, and Social Studies to all levels of adult learners who are studying to earn a GED or transition to college and/or technical training. I have 26 years of teaching experience. This experience aides me in bringing a variety of teaching methods and activities to a tutoring session. I establish and maintian extremely good rapport with students. I am trained in Wilson, Max Way, and STAR reading instruction methods. I have recently completed a math pilot study with the Ohio ABLE Program under the Ohio Board of Regents. I am interested in working with learners from the 5th grade level through adults in any academic subject.
