TEACHING EXPERIENCE: Alearn Pre-Algebra Teaching Assistant, San Jose, CA. 6/11 to 8/11 Supported an experienced teacher in a summer math acceleration program for 31 students from underprivileged backgrounds. Administered tests, created and graded assignments, tutored students one- on-one and in small groups, and motivated students’ interest in aplying to college. Co-teacher, Stanford Student Initiated Course on Tibet. 4/10 to 6/10 Designed and implemented syllabus supported by Religious Studies faculty, and taught nine lessons including guest lecturers and hands-on exercises on topics relating to Tibetan culture, identity and Buddhism.
