I became a teacher because I have always sought to convey knowledge – mainly to young people who wish to know more. Although I had many good teachers I also had many who left much to be desired. These deficiencies I have striven to avoid. Almost every topic can be simplified to an appropriate level to suit the needs of the pupil. My abiding aim has always been to stimulate interest by enthusing about my subject for enthusiasm invariably ‘rubs off’ on the pupil.
