Additional Info:	I have been an effective teacher for 30 years and a recommended tutor for 20 years. My qualifications include a Bachelor of Education Degree (Combined Studies) and a Diploma in Performance Coaching (Education). During my career I have taught ages 4 to adult of differing ability levels and in various educational contexts. Besides fulfilling the role of a class teacher, I have devoted several years of my working life to SEN support as a special needs teacher/tutor and co-ordinator in mainstream and independent schools; assisting the less able to the more able learner to achieve significant educational targets or grades. My tutoring style is friendly, patient, dedicated, encouraging, informative and interesting . Following an initial discussion and assessment of the student's strengths and weaknesses, an individual programme of learning is established to cater for their specific educational needs and preferred learning style, using appropriate techniques and resources. During the sessions students are given the opportunity to discuss or comment on their work content and performance in order to promote the building of confidence and competence. Parents are provided with verbal feedback at the end of each session on the progress of their child. As appropriate, I liaise with relevant school contacts.
Fees:	£ 25.00 Pounds Per Hour The fee is inclusive of travel costs.
