Additional Info:	Hello! My name is Jennifer, and I have been tutoring high school and college students since 2011. My areas of specialty are Algebra I & II, Trigonometry, and biology. I have loved math and science since I was a child, and have made it my life's goal to help others come to love it as well. I am studying math and engineering technology in college, so I have a vast knowledge of science and math topics. In addition to biology, I can assist students with chemistry and astronomy concepts. I can also assist students with mathematical topics ranging from pre-algebra all the way up to linear algebra. I am known for being very patient with students, and I don't give up on them until I feel they truly understand the topic at hand. That is how I differ from other tutors: I work on getting students to understand principles, not to just memorize them. As a student myself, I learned that understanding topics is more useful than memorizing. I was born and raised in Michigan, and moved to Texas to attend college in 2008. I am a graduate of Lone Star College-Tomball, Magna Cum Laude and a member of Phi Theta Kappa. I attended the University of North Texas for one year, where I took mathematics and science courses. I am now enrolled in the Architectural Engineering Technology program at Lone Star College in Cy-Fair.
