Additional Info:	I have over 25 years of experience tutoring students in both high school chemistry and algebra. I began tutoring students in both college level general and organic chemistry while attending Northern Kentucky University (NKU) in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry. While attending college I also held a part time position as Tutor Coordinator for Northern Kentucky University. I this position I was responsible for matching students needing help in various subjects with capable tutors. During this time I continued to assist students in chemistry. After graduating from NKU I continued to tutor both family and friends in college level math and science courses. In more recent years I have tutored primarily high school students in both Algebra I and II and Chemistry. I also worked for a tutoring service briefly in the early 1990s. The style of teaching I use involves first explaining the math and science methods and concepts. Once the student has acquired a sufficient understanding I then begin working with the student through the problem solving process. I find it necessary to continuously engage and question the student during this process as this keeps them interested and allows me to determine their level of comprehension of the subject matter.
