Additional Info:	I was very excited to hear that your organization is working with online tutoring. I am currently working as a part-time teacher with South Korean adults in conversational English. I also have had the great opportunity to work as an elementary/middle school teacher in South Korea for many years. I am only working part-time now and I am hoping to secure another position in this exciting field. I also have been a classroom teacher here in California. I taught English literature at the high school level in San Francisco. I take my work seriously and I enjoy what I do. My approach is always to make the lesson positive and encourage my students from the very first conversation. I think that positive reinforcement makes a big difference in motivation. I understand that learning another language can be very challenging and practice via the phone or video is an incredible way for students to have direct access to a native speaker. My experience with the Korean culture also makes me feel very connected to my students. We talk about Korean culture, geography, and politics. Since I spent time in South Korea, I have a sense of connection to what they bring up. I am also aware of some of the challenges South Korean have in learning English. For example, the letter "r" and "l" in Korean is the same character which is why they are often mixed in English pronounciation. I hope that my experience would be enough to show that I am a very qualified candidate for this position.
Fees:	$ 20.00 Dollars Per Hour My fee is set for all of my students whether it is conversational English or test preparation. I am a little flexible when it comes to financial constraints. My emphasis is assisting students who need the support, my fee is negotiable if it prevents someone from contacting me.
