I have all of the things you would hope for in a math tutor - 800s on my math SATs, a B.S. in math from MIT, a Ph.D. in math from NYUs Courant Institute, and many years of experience working for major banks, and as much experience as an adjunct in NYU-Polys Finance and Risk Engineering Department. But what matters is that I can take you from basic algebra through elementary calculus and probability theory, all the way to my specialties in graduate level applied math. I have specialist knowledge in quantitative finance, including Whole yield curve models (Black, Derman, Toy; Black Karazinski, Heath, Jarrow, Morton, etc.), numerical methods, including Monte Carlo methods), multivariate statistics, and statistical arbitrage techniques. Even better, I can explain these things in plain English. |
Fees:
|
While my fees are negotiable, please understand that it took me literally decades to acquire my present skills. My hourly rate is therefore considerably higher than the college students who also hold themselves out as math tutors. |
