Additional Info:	My qualifications: BSc (Hons) Chemistry, PhD Biochemistry, PGCE Chemistry and Science. I am a highly experienced teacher and have taught Chemistry at all levels, including undergraduate level. I have over 20 years experience teaching and tutoring within both the State and Independent sector and currently teach at an outstanding Grammar School. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and find tutoring particularly rewarding, achieving excellent results. My aim is to enthuse and install confidence in my students so that they enjoy Chemistry and achieve their full potential. In the past I have helped numerous students to achieve the high grades at GCSE and A level necessary for University courses at Russell Group Universities and Oxbridge. I have been called an inspirational teacher by both my colleagues and my students and always aim to make tutoring an enjoyable, confidence boosting experience for all of my pupils and tutees, whatever their age. I am particularly interested in SEN and have enjoyed tutoring students with a variety of SEN issues. My present and recent students include A level students wishing to pursue careers in Veterinary Science, Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy who need to achieve an A grade in chemistry and those applying for University courses at Russell Group Universities. I have also helped IGCSE and GCSE Chemistry students who need consolidation of their work, sometimes on account of periods of absence, throughout the year. Amongst my recent tutees( who I took on at the start of Year 13) are students who have progressed from D grades at AS to either an A*, A or B at A2, enabling them to study subjects including Veterinary Science, Medicine, Engineering and Biochemistry at their first choice Russell group Universities.
