Additional Info:	I am British by birth but have spent the bulk of my years in New Zealand. I have always been passionate about books and learning. I love travelling to new places. I am a part time adult literacy tutor and work on a one-on-one basis or in small groups of students of varying ethnicities and cultures. Literacy and theory of driving form the bulk of my work, along with work specific to a student, for example a student working towards a trade qualification. I span the whole spectrum from the alphabet-challenged to those working on university assignments. In many cases a student beginning literacy sessions benefits from work of primary standard and progresses through to much higher levels with their increasing confidence and ability. I have a level 5 certificate in Adult Literacy and a New Zealand Institute of Management qualification and I am part way through a Sociology degree. I have worked in adult literacy for nine years and I can honestly say that this is the most rewarding part of my working life.
