Additional Info:	I am a semi-retired headteacher and am qualified to tutor from age 5-adults. At present I work at a local Further Education College tutoring Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT. I can teach Maths to GCSE. My first degree is in Special needs and I have experience with ADHD, ADD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia. I am able to make assessments in the above areas and supply tutoring in both Maths and English. I also have a TEFL certificate and can offer English as a second language. I believe that when tutoring on a 1:1 basis relationships with the student is important. It is important to have a good learning environment and be able to boost the student's self-esteem. Setting long term and short term targets are so important in order that the student can see what they are achieving. I usually meet the student initially free to do an assessment and then plan from this point. I can also offer support and guidance to parents who feel their children are not receiving the correct support from school and can suggest how this can be organised. I have over 20 plus years experience and believe in the whole child. It is important to remember safe guarding and I have a CRB certificate for anyone to see.
Fees:	£ 20.00 Pounds Per Hour If you wish me to travel if it is over 10 miles away I would expect some reimbursement for fuel.
