Additional Info:	Am a college graduate with an Associate Degree and have tutored both typical college-age and adult students for over five years in variety of English and Math courses. I am extremely knowledgeable, dedicated, enthusiastic and attentive. My students quickly learn that I teach them how to not just achieve passing a course (in cases where they were almost done with their course and almost sure to fail!), but to reach for and earn an "A" instead of being satisfied with only a "C." Therefore, I take on ONLY highly self-motivated students who can handle intensive sessions where they will learn how to work smart and hard. In the case of students who lack motivation or discipline, I politely ask them to seek another tutor. My constant goal, no matter what the subject, is to teach someone how to excel and not be satisfied with simply being "average." One last note is that I graduated from a community college in Texas with a 3.78 GPA, missing graduating with highest academic honors by literally one computer programming course that I earned a C in!! So, I walk the talk, and at nearly 60 years old, I was a Dean's List student every semester and a member of the local chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa national honor society.
Fees:	$ 15.00 Dollars Per Hour This is strictly an introductory rate only for most beginning or lower-level courses and depends on the educational level, as well as the specific course the student is taking. In cases of college or university-level courses, my rates are slightly higher. I also reserve the right to terminate my services with a student at any time, with adequate notice and the reason(s) for my decision given. My rates do NOT include transportation, should the student request sessions to be done at their home. Please keep in mind also, that as any other self-employed worker, I have to file taxes with the state and federal governments that normal employees do not have to. Of course, any benefits that might be offered by a potential employer are also lost to me. In conclusion, I know my rates are fair and reasonable, especially with the results I am used to helping my students achieve.
