Additional Info:	My name is Christian, and I a math tutor who tutors pre-algebra, algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus and calculus, linear algebra, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for junior high school, high school and college students. I can assist students in their general school math course work or in preparation for the math portions of the ACT/SAT and SAT Math subject matter tests. I am patient and have experience with students with learning disabilities, especially Asperger’s Syndrome. I am a 2013 graduate of the University of Delaware with a degree in Civil Engineering. I am presently in the process of applying to graduate school where I intend to work to a PhD in mathematics with the intention of eventually become and operations investigator. At UD, I completed the following math courses: Calculus I, Calculus II, Calculus III, Engineering Math I, Engineering Math III, Linear Algebra &, Complex Variables. As a member of the National Math Honors Society, I tutored my high school classmates. In college, I was a paid tutor for my classmates. My work experience in addition to tutoring math include, summer camp counseling, paralegal work, being a doctor’s office receptionist. In addition, I was a research assistant at the University of Delaware, my undergraduate school, working in the Math department with other professors on the tear film of the eye, which is a type of layer eye fluid. We used mathematical computer models to determine the activity of the tear film. My tutoring sessions will include sitting down with the student and ask him or her about the problem that he or she is facing regarding his or her struggles in Math. Next, I would request a syllabus for the course and the textbook assigned to the course. Then, I will develop a game plan to strengthen the deficiencies of the student. I will then develop a few warm-up problems, and then have the student do as many problems as possible on the topic and review the questions and strategies with the student. I will leave the student assignments to do after our tutoring session is done. I am located in the Rockland County and I am available to travel in that County for tutoring. In addition, I am available to travel to locations within a 30 mile radius of the George Washington Bridge. I am also available to travel to locations within a 20 mile radius of the Bear Mountain Bridge. My rate is $50/hour with an additional flat fee of $15 for travel outside of Rockland County. If financial constraints arise, I am willing to reduce my rate to a reasonable and affordable amount to what we can both agree on.
Fees:	$ 50.00 Dollars Per Hour My rate is typically the current price due to the driving distance, parking rates, as well as toll expenses when driving through New York City. However, if a client is unable to afford this rate, it is best that you call me directly so that we can determine a proper hourly rate that is cheaper and agreeable between the two of us.
