Additional Info:	It is my belief that there is a greater potential within all of us to learn any subject than we realize. My experience has taught me that once a person learns the "how to" of any subject they are able to move forward confidently. My goal is to empower my students, giving them the skills and tools necessary to succeed. I teach my students how to overcome fear of failure. By doing so they will be able to better meet their academic goals. I am a retired teacher. My major areas were Secondary (High School) Science and Mathematics. However during my 25+ years of teaching I have experience in teaching at all levels from elementary through college. My approach to tutoring starts by finding out what the student knows and can do. By doing this I can help my students build from their current knowledge and confidence to overcome problems and gain mastery of new skills. My goal is to teach my students "How to Learn" so they can apply that to any subject matter.
Fees:	$ 35.00 Dollars Per Hour This rate is based on individual tutoring with no long term agreement. Rate adjusted for Travel, Agreement,or other considerations. Group rates, Discounts, Special Rates for Veterans, Nursing Students Available.
