Additional Info:	An enthusiastic and creative Qualified Modern Foreign Languages Teacher with a variegated teaching experience in different contexts and to multicultural groups of students. Ten years of study and work experience (private tutor/teacher/translator/interpreter/proofreader) in several countries and a Degree in "Language mediation and Intercultural communication" deepened my knowledge of 5 EU languages and cultures - Italian, Spanish, French, English and Romanian. Offering tuition in Italian, Spanish, English and Romanian at any level (beginners - intermediate - advanced) and French at GCSE level. Key achievements: 1- Gained a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) from a top-tier university (Institute of Education, University of London); 2- Won the National Competition of Romanesque Languages - Italian language section (in 2003 and 2004 with a 10/10 result); 3- Conceived and ran an English language Workshop project for Cranfield University's students, where all had the possibility to teach and learn, revise grammar, discuss and share opinions. With excellent results I use authentic materials and innovative language teaching techniques, such as short films and drama activities, which I had the opportunity to deeply research at the Institute of Education (University of London) and then put into practice in the London schools I worked for. These techniques have proved to stimulate and engage students of all ages and language levels. My lessons are always student-centred, interactive, stimulating and related to real life, cultural situations or to exam requirements, according to students' needs. I have prepared students for: GCSE (Edexcel and AQA boards), A-levels and International Baccalaureate. I place high value on mutual respect, cooperation and active participation, the use of humour and imagination. Since I am very ambitious and have high expectations, my students and I have always worked hard and achieved our goals.
