Andy Collins

Additional Info:	Andy Collins is a tutor, trainer and PR consultant based in Durham. His background is in Public Relations, including spending more than twelve years as a government press and PR office and spokesman. Since setting up his own business in 2011 he has been in demand to help individuals of all ages improve their speaking, writing and presentational skills both as a private tutor and by training in groups. This ranges from showing professionals how to make the best impression in the business environment, to working together to prepare important speeches and presentations, showing students how to write effective essays and dissertations, and helping people speak fluently and with confidence, especially if English is not their first language. Andy studied English, Latin and Philosophy at Durham University and graduated as a BA with Honours in all three subjects. He holds a Master of Arts Degree in Public Communications and a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Communications, both from Leeds University. He is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), and a member of the Senior Common Rooms at the College of St Hild and St Bede, Collingwood College and Josephine Butler College, all in the University of Durham,
